Team and Player Eligibility

All teams and players must be true recreation level and must meet the age level eligibility for the appropriate division. Select, Club, or unsanctioned rec. teams and players are not allowed to participate.

A select player is defined as any player who is part of a select team or 'picks up' to play with a select team during the current softball season.

A team, or players, participating in open 'All Stars' tournaments outside of Mid Cities Softball Interlock during the season will be considered Select players.

These tournaments are not sanctioned and regularly include Select teams so they are in fact open Select tournament, not true recreation level All Stars tournaments. This includes players who have guest played on a Select roster (e.g., USSSA, NCS, Travel Sports, Triple Crown, or NTX, 24 Sports).

All teams are required to have team insurance

Team rosters and proof of insurance must be submitted using the online registration page.

Player birth certificates must be kept by coaches throughout the tournament .  Birth certificates of any player must be provided to the tournament staff if a protest has been made.

Protests can be made at the time of the infraction with a $100 protest fee. If the protest is awarded, the protesting team will get their fee returned to them.
