Age Division Eligbility
Age eligibility is determined by a player's age as of January 1st. (e.g., a player is 8 years old on January 1st but will turn 9 years old during the current year, she is eligible to play 8U for the entire year (spring and fall season). Visit our Parent Portal to learn more.
Team Composition Guidelines
SGSA determines the number of teams each season based on the overall number eligible registered players within each age division category for the upcoming season. Teams are formed through a coach draft selection process after our coach look evaluations. Returning teams have the option of designating a limited number of 'keepers' for the upcoming season.
The entire process is designed to be equitable, transparent, and inclusive with the overarching goal of ensuring a positive experience for all SGSA participants.
